Restomods and High-End Bodykits Take Center Stage in Tuning

As in previous years, a significant portion of the PRAGUE CAR FESTIVAL will be dedicated to professionally modified cars as part of the BSR TUNING EXPO.

Among the hundreds of vehicles whose owners will showcase the latest trends in car tuning, there will also be cars modified in the Restomod style. These are classic cars that differ from traditional vintage models by incorporating modern technology from today’s vehicles, such as engine construction and performance, suspension, transmission, braking systems, steering, wheels, and more. These cars may also feature different bodywork or interior materials. In other words, they retain the original silhouette, but with completely new technology under the hood. A prime example of this specialized car modification discipline, known as Restomod, will be a historic Mercedes-Benz at the upcoming BSR TUNING EXPO, equipped with modern technology found in AMG models, the performance division of the iconic German brand. This car is a complete build that its owner finished just a few weeks ago.

When the term „The Kyza“ is mentioned in the world of tuning, car modification enthusiasts know it refers to the exceptional work of globally renowned and highly respected designer Khyzyl Saleem. Therefore, this year’s BSR TUNING EXPO would not be complete without the presence of a BMW E36 Cabrio with an LTO body kit designed by this 31-year-old Manchester-born designer. The car features custom TURISMO wheels, and under its hood, visitors to the Prague exhibition will find the legendary 2JZ engine from the Toyota Supra.
